has a solid academic background consisting of a Bachelor&#039;s and a Master&#039;s degree in Economic Sciences with a focus on Business Economics, a DESS in Banking and Finance, a Diploma of Advanced Studies (DEA) in Economic Sciences with a focus on Economy and Society, and a diploma in accounting and financial expertise.<\/p><p>Responding to the call of the Head of State, inviting all compatriots to come and invest in the country, Jean Ernest Mass\u00e9na Ngall\u00e9 Bibehe, who was already campaigning for the presidential cause abroad, became Vice-President of the Board of Directors and General Manager of the Cameroon Urban Transport Company (SOCATUR SA) in March 2001. In 2007, he was Chairman of the Board of Directors and founder of the National Company for the Development of Economic Initiative (CONADIE), a microfinance institution. He also served as Director of Management Control and Internal Audit and Administrative, Accounting and Financial Director in various companies.<\/p><p>From October 2015 to early March 2018, by Presidential Decree, Jean Ernest Mass\u00e9na Ngall\u00e9 Bibehe held the position of Minister of Secondary Education (MINESEC).<\/p><p>On March 2, 2018, he was appointed Minister of Transport and then, on May 27, 2019, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Cameroon Airlines Corporation (CAMAIR-Co). Infrastructure development in the transport sector remains a priority for the Cameroonian government. The objective is to improve the competitiveness of the national economy. The government program intends to materialize the plans of the National Development Strategy 2020-2030 in terms of road infrastructure. The plan for emergence through multimodal and intermodality consists of a strategy estimated at a total cost of 7900 billion FCFA. It aims to plan and program investments in the transport sector in a coherent manner in an approach of complementarity.<\/p><p>For the 2023 budget year, the Ministry of Transport&#039;s budget amounts to 92 billion 127 million FCFA, distributed across MINT programs and primarily allocated to the implementation of major actions.<\/p><p>The Minister of Transport intends to increase efforts related to road safety and prevention. This program also aims to build multimodal infrastructure as part of the implementation of the Integrated Multimodal Transport Infrastructure Strategy.<\/p><p>Regarding the development of air transport, priority will be given to the repair work on the runway of Garoua International Airport, the reconfiguration and renovation of the passenger terminal of Douala International Airport, as well as the rehabilitation of the airports of Bertoua, Kribi and Tiko instructed by the Head of State.<\/p><p>For the development of maritime, river, lake transport and port activities, work on the Kribi deep-water port construction project, as well as the Kribi Autonomous Port drinking water supply project, should accelerate.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Jean Ernest Mass\u00e9na Ngall\u00e9 Bibehe est Ministre des Transports (MINT) depuis mars 2018, un secteur important de l\u2019Economie camerounaise et un support essentiel \u00e0 la strat\u00e9gie de croissance acc\u00e9l\u00e9r\u00e9e du pays.
