After graduating top of his class at the National School of Administration and Magistracy of Cameroon (ENAM), he then went on to study at the National School of Administration (ENA) in Paris.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Malachie Manaouda also attends the Canadian Centre for Research and Support on Governance of Public Organizations (CCRAGOP), a Canadian organization whose mission is to promote excellence in governance in the public sector of developing countries.<\/p>\n<p>Well known in the upper echelons of the administration, from October 2003 until August 31, 2010, he was Attach\u00e9, in charge of Organic Affairs at the Presidency of the Republic of Cameroon. From August 2010 to September 2012, he was Secretary General of the Ministry of Arts and Culture and then, from September 2012 until July 2018, Secretary General of the Ministry of Water and Energy.<\/p>\n<p>Since January 2019, Malachie Manaouda has been Minister of Public Health, a position in which he is responsible for implementing Universal Health Coverage (UHC). The first pilot phase was launched on April 12, 2023, with a budget of 95 billion CFA francs. UHC is funded 49.5% from the Cameroonian government&#039;s own funds and 50.3% from technical and financial partners. As part of the project, the &quot;Camer Health Coverage&quot; platform was established. To benefit from UHC services, patients can register. The implementation of UHC in Cameroon is a major step towards a more inclusive and accessible healthcare system. Thanks to this initiative, Cameroonian citizens will be able to benefit from quality healthcare without facing financial difficulties.<\/p>\n<p>The Ministry of Health also carried out, under his leadership, the digitalization of the health system. Estimated at more than 11 billion FCFA over a period of 05 years, the National Digital Health Strategic Plan (PSNSN 2020-2024) is divided into several strategic axes: leadership and governance, legislation, policies and compliance, human resources, strategy and investments, services and applications, infrastructure, standards and interoperability. The youngest Minister in the Government of Dion Ngute Joseph, Malachie Manaouda has made his mark within the ministerial department.<\/p>\n<p>In 2020, Malachie Manaouda was named &quot;Politician of the Year&quot; at the first edition of the Cameroon Web Awards.
